Afro Gurl isn’t your typical “hero,” she’s a biracial masc-presenting queer and unapologetically herself. Created by Christina Moreland, Afro Gurl fights for a better world in a chaotic, dystopian future where hope feels scarce. But she knows there’s something better out there. She’s seen it, and she’ll do whatever it takes to get back to it and to bring others along with her.
Her adventures remind us that the fight for a better world starts with the stories we tell and the actions we take, no matter how small.
